..work relating potential indications to the mechanism of action, was conducted by Xenovium
A small biotech was developing anti-inflammatory drugs for the treatment of metabolic disorders.
The primary challenge was establishing how best to take the company into the market place with a view to raising additional capital or as an acquisition target. New presentational materials and a strong scientific business case were required to support the excellent work that had been conducted to date.
Building on previous experience and familiarity with the therapeutic space, substantial literature work on the approach, relating the potential indications to themechanism of action, was conducted by Xenovium.
Further work to identify potential partner companies, new investors or acquirers followed on and a list of new business leads constructed. From this, background documentation, briefing packs and both non-confidential and confidential slide deck were constructed. A series of business development discussions were held on behalf of the client and deep technical input provided to support M&A discussions on the project.
The client ended up with a clear technical narrative, which enabled excellent engagement with top-level scientists and business development professionals.
